Awaken Africa at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital
The Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital (RCWMCH) is located in Cape Town, South Africa and is the only dedicated children's hospital in sub-Saharan Africa. Thus, RCWMCH serves children and families from local regions, neighboring and distant African countries admitting approximately 250,000 children annually, 95% whom are underserved or indigent. Regarded as South Africa's leading center for post-graduate specialist pediatric medical and surgical training, it is a center of excellence for the training of all categories of child health professionals from around the world.
